Our Mission
The Cosmetology Practitioners' Association Limited is dedicated to advancing the cosmetology industry in Uganda by setting and upholding high professional standards, promoting public awareness, and providing valuable resources and support to our members. We strive to empower cosmetology professionals, enhance their skills, and foster a culture of excellence and ethical practice.

To be the leading national association that sets the benchmark for cosmetology professionals in Uganda, recognized for its commitment to quality, safety, and continuous growth of its members and the industry.
History
2010 - Establishment
The Cosmetology Practitioners' Association Limited was founded in 2010 by a group of passionate cosmetology professionals who recognized the need for a unified body to represent and regulate the industry in Uganda.
2012 - First National Conference
The association held its first National Conference, bringing together practitioners from across the country to network, share knowledge, and discuss the future of cosmetology in Uganda.
2015 - Certification Program Launch
We launched our national certification program, aimed at recognizing and promoting qualified professionals, and ensuring high service standards across the industry.
2018 - Public Awareness Campaigns
The association initiated a series of public awareness campaigns to educate the public about the importance of seeking services from certified professionals and the benefits of maintaining proper hygiene and safety standards in salons and spas.
2020 - Expansion and Growth
The association expanded its reach and membership, establishing regional chapters and increasing its influence in shaping industry standards and practices.
2023 - Digital Transformation
The association underwent a digital transformation, launching a new website, online resources, and virtual training programs to better serve its members and the public.
